A pair of fine gold earrings consisting of a tapering twisted wire shank terminating in goat’s heads with wirework and incised decoration. Greek, 4th Century BC. Intact as shown and fully wearable. Both earrings have lost a bead behind the head area, the gap has been used to mount them with modern hoops which are specially designed so that they swivel and allow the earrings to sit correctly when worn.

OOAK Incense Holder – The Goat (by Carolina Gonzalez)
Unique hand carved and hand painted incense holder – my husband carved the piece from salvaged pine wood and I painted it and varnished it, depicting a goat head with a pentacle on its forehead. Along the sides of the incense holder, two branches of olive flow until they meet at the end, circling the symbol of Venus. The Male God is creator of fertility and abundance.
24,5 cms long – 9,5 inches long. One of a kind piece.
