Razza Goat Necklace, via Ebay
A very fine looking pair of c.19th silver plated dish stands, each with 3 heads supporting chains and 3 barley twist columns. These are quite probably of ecclesiastical origin. The small dishes are later additions but you could quite easily use these as candle stands, they were once used for this as there is evidence of some candle wax to interiors.
Very bizarre piece of professional taxidermy from around c1900 making it part of the vicorian golden age of taxidermy.
This item has been mounted on a hardwood shield shaped plinth. At the bottom of the shield plinth there is indication that something has been removed which could have been the makers identification plate. This is a very large imposing piece of taxidermy.
The long haired feral goats head measures 20” inches high x 10” inches wide and the horns measure 21” inches in length. Also on the right horn of the goats head there is an excellent example of bird which appears to be a crow but im not an ornithologist so it could be another species.
Both the goat and also the bird are in great condition considering there age and you will probably never see anything alike to this again which makes this an excellent opportunity to aquire a “unique” one of a kind item.
